Evaluation of effective Ways of Social Prevention of Assault and Battery (Case Study of Western Azerbaijan Police Command Center)

Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to identify effective ways to prevent assault and battery, and to prioritize them. The study regarding the purpose is practical and regarding the way is descriptive. The subjects include the experts and some employees of Western Azerbaijan province that 151 people have been elected randomly. Data collecting was through interview and questionnaire which have been applied using statistic and evaluative tests. The results show that there is a meaningful difference between status quo and desired condition to prevent assault and battery and among effective ways of social-based prevention justifying and briefing employees about the consequence of assault and battery is number one priority and developing the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice about avoiding assault and battery and forecasting preservation consideration with accused people are number two and three priorities. Under desirable condition, technical and scientific improvement of command centers in order to alleviate scientific findings of crimes is number one priority in social prevention process.
