Interpretative Structural Modeling of the Effective Factors on Business Continuity Management in Small and Medium Enterprises
Nowadays, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) are introduced as a growth factor for countries. One of the most important concepts in these companies is the concept of Business Continuity Management (BCM). Therefore, the present study aims to provide a better understanding of how BCM works by these companies and to demonstrate their need for assistance. The purpose of this research is to identify the components of business continuity of small and medium enterprises (in Tehran) using an interpretive structural approach of these components.. Data come from interviews with the managers of food manufacturing companies, Iran Khodro Machines and with the professors of the University of Tehran, which had a scientific and practical mastery of the subject matter. Interpretative Structural Modeling results showed that teamwork, accountability and accountability and executive management have the highest effect and the least dependence among the other factors.
