Abstract:
Introduction

Correct recovery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is necessary and rescue so that knowledge of it can mean saving a person’s life. Therefore, in developed countries, emphasis has been placed on training in vital operations. Most universities are looking for new educational methods for advancement in nursing students. The purpose of this study was to provide educational methods for teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation and its effect on knowledge, attitude and practice of nursing students.

Materials and Methods

This review article is based on the American Heart Association cardiopulmonary resuscitation Guidelines 2015, with an emphasis on core cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other library resources and published articles through search banks Relevant information including American Medical Association, Resuscitation, SID, Elsevier, Google Scholar Between 2004 and 2017.

Results

Effective learning in education is more than just the result of the correct training, which is achieved in an appropriate environment through creative methods. Therefore, proper and effective teaching methods should be used to improve the quality of education. The use of modern educational methods, such as smart game play and simulation, will increase the scientific and practical skills of nursing students.

Discussion and Conclusion

studies in different teaching and teaching methods fields showed have the importance of applying new methods. This study showed that two educational methods, a serious game in the smartphone platform and simulation can affect the positive change in students’ knowledge and performance, but there is no significant effect on the attitude of nursing students
