The Effectiveness of Horizontal and Vertical Signals on Changing Road users’ Safety Behavior
The aim of this study is reviewing the effectiveness of line drawing and road hold signals on driver behavior. This effectiveness can result in road safety promotion and improvement of traffic flow. These changes in designing speed lines, management of speed changing method, speed management in horizontal and vertical arches and road safety level have been more risk than other elements. For measurement of this effectiveness can use two methods. One method is using driving simulators and other using is drivers help in pre identified real routes. The result of this study showed that driver can control his environment but his focus is on the special detail of road signals and when available roads show correct behaviors of driving, automatically that behavior is done by driver.
