For Lateral movement is one of the most common phenomena in traffic flow that lack of control & non-compliance leads to car accidents side by side and face. Driver’s behavior in Lateral displacement and deviation from the center of the traffic channels, are affected by the quality and functional requirements, horizontal signs particularly is marking. In this article, we will review the performance and effectiveness of horizontal signs and markings on drivers’ behavior, the feasibility of developing a linear model on the drivers’ amount of displacement to traffic variables such as speed, volume and the headway time has been considering. The effect of marking quality due to the amount of the contrast, the white color was assessed on black background; the volume and speed were done by handy film cameras, films are extracted from central traffic control. By using statistical analysis, ANOVA, T-test the amount of lateral displacement in two both cases were investigated before and after the improvement markings. The results show that, we cannot model the effect of the behavior movement in the middle of traffic lanes resulted from traffic conditions and the performance marking, although driving behavior pattern is improved by changing in the quality of markings.
