The survey onthe Relationship between Organizational Health and Occupational Burnout among Naja personnel (Case Study: Disciplinary Commandership in a Province)

Abstract:

the present study deals with relationship between organizational health and occupational burnout among staff and personnel of Army Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in District 1 of the province. The present study is of descriptive – correlative type and its objective is of applied type. All staff and personnel of Army Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in disciplinary commandership at District 1 of provinces of the country constitute the subject of the study. Sample size of the present study stood at 236 persons, using Cochrane Formula which was obtained based on classified randomized sampling method. Maslach standardized questionnaire is used in this study for measuring variable of occupational burnout (emotional exhaustion or emotional exhaustion), depersonalization, and lack of personal fulfillment (reduced sense of personal accomplishment). Validity of this study has been approved in several domestic and foreign studies while its reliability was obtained 0.89 using Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient. Researcher- made questionnaire was used for measurement of variable of organizational health (functional needs of the organization, survival need of the organization and need for growth and development of organization from staff and personnel perspective). The validity of the researcher- made questionnaire was approved using constructive viewpoint of university lecturers, experts and connoisseurs.It should be noted that reliability of researcher- made questioner was calculated 0.91 using Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient.
Results of test of hypotheses indicate that there is inverse and significant relationship between dimensions of variable of organizational health and degree of their occupation burnout.
