Lingual Heritage and Literary Aspects in the Iranian Folkloric Poems

Folkloric poems of different regions of Iran constitute a rich cultural, lingual and literary treasure which has been provided by the inhabitants of those regions through thousands of years. Two of the aspects of this tremendous heritage are its lingual and literary aspects and related studies. This article tries to examine these lingual and literary aspects of the folkloric poems. In the lingual aspect, the following items have been studies in the folkloric poems: The simplicity of language, application of local terms and words, bombastic and obsolete words, non-Iranian words and application of world out of the current grammatical format. Besides, this paper attempts to show the literary aspects of the poems including the beat, quality of alignment and rhyme and their varities. Moreover, some literary features like pun, repetition, antagonism, anagram, simile, metaphor, stinger, paroemia, taxis, allusion, satire have been introduced and a number of examples have been provided as well.
