identify the relationship between information technology and job satisfaction among the faculty members of Roudehen Azad university
This study has been conducted to identify the relationship between information technology and job satisfaction among the faculty members of Roudehen Azad university. The society of the research consists of all faculty members of Roudehen Azad university in years 1393-94 who have scientific degrees such as full professor, associate professor, assistant professor, trainer and scholar. According to the report of personnel department they are 417 people. To select participants, stratified random sampling method has been used. To collect data the standardized job satisfaction questionnaire ( prepared by Bradfield and Ruth in Minnesota university in 1967) investigated and used ( for communication and information technology component). In this research the method of content validity has been used to measure the amount of validity of measuring tools and based on Lawshe 1975, content validity ratio has been calculated 0.67. Cronbach's alpha has been used to measure internal consistency of the indices and the results indicated that, the measuring tools have acceptable internal consistency. To analyze statistical data, descriptive statistics indicators (central and distribution indicators) and Komolof Smirnov test and Spearman's correlation coefficient have been used. The results indicated that there is direct and positive relationship between employing information and communication technology and job satisfaction of faculty members of university. Although this relationship is weak and this also has been observed between the employing of software and job satisfaction.
