Crime and the sense of insecurity of crime in urban neighborhoods, especially metropolitan areas, are one of the most important concerns of citizens, so that, taking into account places where crime occurs or who are perpetrated by crime, their use is less than other places. People do not appreciate the use and traffic of those places. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting crime prevention considering the environmental factors that have been studied in the Pamiran neighborhood of Tehran as a study area. The type of applied research is a descriptive-analytic study based on the survey. The interview technique and the questionnaire have been used in data collection. The results of the research indicate that there is a significant and inverse relationship between the components of urban services (including the creation of parks and green spaces, the repair and reconstruction of ruined buildings and increasing the amount of lighting) and monitoring (natural, organized and mechanical components) with crime occurrence in Pamenar neighborhood. That is, the extent to which urban services and supervision in the area increase, the crime rate is reduced. Also, there is a direct and significant relationship between the physical environment and the occurrence of mass with the correlation coefficient of Pearson 0.291.
