Assessing people's participation in the implementation of the urban regeneration plan(Case study: worn-out central texture of Ahvaz city)
The issue of worn-out tissue, and in particular its connection to citizen participation in urban issues, including urban regeneration, has been raised in Western societies in the last two weeks. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the participation of people in the implementation of urban regeneration project in the dilapidated central part of Ahvaz. The method of this study is descriptive-analytical. Central, and 40 experts have been collected, and the Friedman test in the form of SPSS software and the SWOT model was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the most important strength of the strategy is to provide banking facilities at a reasonable rate, the most important weakness is the lack of trust in the government and the municipality and the lack of trust in neighborly cooperation in discussing property consolidation and the most important opportunity to use domestic loans. The scores also show that in the current situation, a competitive strategy with the highest score should be given priority and attention. Then, the results of Friedman test show that among the measured indicators (social, economic, cultural and political), the highest social participation among neighborhoods, Bagh Sheikh neighborhood with average (2.37), the highest economic participation of Ameri neighborhood with average (2/33), the highest cultural participation, Bagh-e Moin neighborhood with an average (3.63) and the highest political participation with a 30-meter neighborhood with an average (3.63).the general results indicate that there is a worn-out texture between citizen participation and the implementation of urban regeneration.
