The concept of Divine Power and Theological reasons to proof it

Abstract:

The subject of Divine names and qualities has been one of the most fundamental problems in the holy religious text in Divine religions and in works of philosophers and theologians. Holy Quran and Islamic traditions (Hadiths) many have raised it and related problems. In the several Islamic theologian scholars, Shiaa and Mutazilah had important role in semantic expansion of Divine names and qualities. The power along with seven qualities such as the Knowledge, the will, the revelation, the visual, the speech, is the most prominent qualities and has a spatial importance and position. The research question is: what is the meaning of Divine power and what are the reasons of it? And what is the territory of it? This study aim to respond this question by descriptive and analytic way relying on original theological and philosophical works. It seems that the divine power means the Divine will and knowledge and freedom to create and not create. In this article this subject has established by reference to some verses of Holy Quran and theological rational reasons such as creation of the world by God and argument from design and nature.
