Conceptualization of Thirtieth Sermon in Nahj al-Balaghah and its Analysis. Here is the Sentence: “Everyone who leaves, May Receive the Mercy of Allah”
One of the issues after the battle of Jamal is the sermon which was delivered by Imam Ali on describing of the people of Basra and giving them a reprimand as well as a piece of advice on leaving the town by saying “al Shakhes Ankom” which is presented in Nahj al Balaghah. These meanings have been offered by translators to researchers: To abandon, To depart, To avoid, To get out, To leave the town However, there are various forms of leaving in religious terms such as: Migrating from Dar al Kufr “that is the city of the infidel” to Dar al Iman “that is the city of the faith”, like migration from Mecca to Medina, abondon disliked ethnic traits, Separation of the right and the wrong people in society, Leaving the companionship of turpitudes This article using linguistic, historical and contextual evidences, proves that the purpose of leaving is to leave the city of Basra which was obliged to do so by the audiences in order to maintain their religion. However, it should be noted that this sermon is not aimed at blaming the people of Basra but at suggesting a solution to them to get out of an undesirable situation. Therefore, there is no contradiction of the fact that there would be good people among them later.
