The purpose of this research is to investigate promoting virtue and preventing vice in the security and safety of society. Virtue is any good and nice deed that religion, mind and wisdom commands it, and is the bestowal of human prosperity. The vice is any bad act that soul or devil invites. In terms of Islam, both promoting virtue and preventing vice are a practical way of avoiding painful deviations. From this point of view, Quran has considered the first duty of all the Prophets as promoting virtue and preventing vice. These two acts must be carried out by all people in the community, whether in individual or in trivial or in social and general matters. These two acts are the cause of religion and play a fundamental role in the ethical and spiritual aspects of the Muslim community. Today, global arrogance has shaken the religious community with a cultural invasion of moral and spiritual security, it is imperative that promoting virtue and preventing vice are taken into account and have been discussed. In this research, the method of research was descriptive-analytical (documentary). By reviewing the texts of books and journals related to the subject of research, the effects of promoting virtue and preventing vice in the security and safety of the community have been investigated. The results of the research showed that the safety of the coherence and survival of the society and its unity and the establishment of social justice are the most important works of promoting virtue and preventing vice in security and safety of society.
