The discovery, production, trafficking and consumption of new drugs in the world has become a major and somewhat uncontrollable dilemma. Every day in the media, we are witnessing a new type of plant or industrial drug that has involved society, especially the youth. In this paper, the prevalence of one of these types of herbal drugs called Marijuana has been investigated. Since the present study is qualitative research, there are no hypothesis, statistical society and sampling method. The method for collecting information in this research is in the form of a library and referring to written sources and based on the scientific note taking from the documentation of judicial cases in archives of police fighting against drugs in Hamedan. The method of analyzing information is descriptive, i.e. the collected findings are classified and each feature is extracted and concluded. The findings of the research indicate that Hamedan, like some cities in the country, has a growing trend of smuggling and Marijuana use. The main factors in this regard can be the lack of knowledge, unemployment, income, availability, the promotion of being harmless and having low risk, the replacement of high-risk drugs and the profitability of smuggling. The ways to reduce the tendency to consume Marijuana include planning for the leisure time of the entire community, especially the youth, creating the necessary infrastructure for treating patients, informing and public awareness, and early prevention, socializing the issue, compilation of dynamic and comprehensive laws.
