Abstract:

Not limited to the devotional characteristics of the social institution of the mosque and the study of its civilizational role, in addition to the possibility of pathology of its status, identity and impact, will be able to get the missed opportunities and talent of this popular religious place, so this study by reviewing sources Narrative and historical, seeks to describe and introduce the civilization of Al-Aqsa Mosque as a common interfaith heritage in the territory of the first Islamic century to the seventh century. The civilization of this mosque in the Islamic society will address the two areas of internal and external relations of the Islamic world. One of the results of this study is to explain the role of this mosque in preserving the civilizational heritage of other religions, as well as the analysis of the relations between Islamic states and Christian states, an area whose study of civilization can help us to formulate coherent policies. Helped the Muslim nations by focusing on common teachings and symbols.
