The role of online journalism in developing the political participation of the people

one of the important indices in a legitimate system is the participation of people in activities, political, social, cultural and etc. considering the role of media in today s world as a powerful lever in governments and playing an effective role on the political and social changes of societies, the political behavior of citizens in different societies has been influenced by media and new technologies and has changed shape and nature. one of the most important political behaviors of citizens is political participation of their voting behavior, which is more than anything else in the scope of action and influence of social media and especially social media Nevertheless, this research tries to answer the question with an analysis of online content analysis that is the role of journalism especially online journalism in increasing the political share of the people ? the hypotheses proposed in answer to this question are as follows, there is meaningful relation between the use of social networks and political participation. there is a significant relationship between relying on political news and political participation. there is a significant relationship between the political part of news in the media and political participation. there is a significant relationship between content variable "level of education" and political contribution. there is a significant relationship between content variable "age" and political contribution. finally, the research with a preface, theoretical foundations, history of research, findings, and analysis ends with a conclusion.
