Typology of residential areas of Tehran based on daylight indices in the building
typology, residential areas, building, daylight, TehranToday in Tehran, due to the density, compactness of the building and the presence of suspended particles and air pollutants, access to adequate daylight has decreased. Therefore, daylight-based design is considered as one of the positive advantages for architects. In this study, the aim is to determine the common areas of Tehran with residential buildings based on the frequency of daylight design indicators to answer the question of which species are more frequent in terms of daylight design indicators in 22 areas and that what are the best species in terms of these indicators? Thus, the species with favorable conditions in terms of daylight design criteria outside the building and by providing daylight standards inside the building design stage, created a favorable environment in terms of access to daylight. For this purpose, in this study, by identifying daylight design criteria in Tehran, the range of combined typological indicators was explained and through descriptive typology and with the data typology model of the foundation, the areas of Tehran were classified. Finally, according to the criteria for designing daylight outside the building; the texture, density and pattern of the passages showed that in Tehran, District 4, District 5, Tehran West Pars neighborhood has more frequency and District 15, District 5, Afsaria neighborhood are in a better situation than other areas.
