The Role of Religious Identity in People's Attitude to Political, Economic, and Cultural Conservatism

As a traditionalist conservatism and social traditions and social values defended. In this regard, while some researchers there-that's a conservative political groups virgin debate, but scholars such as Assyrians in Iran's conservative parties addressing. However, even if Iran is also available conservative parties, tendencies of the various dimensions of conservatism in the areas of economic, cultural and political life in Iran can not generally be denied. It seems that based on the comments on one of the factors that can affect people's tendency to conservatism, religious identity. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of religiosity on the conservative-something that the survey among students of different universities of Isfahan has been made. The results show that while religious identity has not had a significant impact on economic conservatism, but conservatism on cultural and religious identity with high intensity with average power has a positive impact on political conservatism. The results also show that in the sample population conservatism of economic, political, cultural and little correlation with each other, and can not speak of a pure conservatism
