The role and position of new media communication technologies in streamlining radio-television production processes, ( Case Study: IRIB)
Media competitiveness in the national and transnational media sphere is closely related to the speed and agility of the media. The speed and agility should be visible primarily in content production processes. New communication technology is the element to achieve agility by making the media system and the current and future production processes smart. This research tends to recognize the role and position of New Communication Technologies in TV and radio production processes agility in IRIB using survey method. The statistical population of this research is IRIB managers, experts, and personnel. The research findings indicate that new communication technologies are essential tools for ‘ content production operation speed-up, production model and system flexibility, high quality and custom order increase, and integrity and low complexity of content processes, before, during, and after production. These components are also requirements for achieving media excellence that directly impacts the agility of TV and radio production processes.
