An Assessment of the Consequences of the U.S Decentralization from West Asia and Its Impact on the National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran
The purpose of the present study is to assess the policy of the U.S decentralization from West Asia and its consequences on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The method of study was descriptive analysis and the findings show that the policy of the U.S decentralization from West Asia, despite giving responsibility to the regional allies of America, has paved the way for the emergence of trans-regional powers such as the Britain, France, and NATO as well as intensified competition between regional powers, thereby creating new challenges for the national security of Iran.
