Deliberating the role of storytelling in administrative transformation
It has been many years since the development and implementation of administrative transformation programs in Iran. Despite the efforts made, many believe that the desired results have not been achieved. In examining the obstacles to administrative change, we encounter culture as one of the key obstacles. Cultural obstacle, meaning the lack of a culture of accepting change, has caused the administrative transformation to face large soft obstacles. How to deal with this obstacle must also be consistent with the nature of the problem. Therefore, a tool should be introduced that can subtly and softly eliminate the culture of non-acceptance of change. This study provides an overview of the role of storytelling as an important tool to deal with the cultural obstacle of administrative change.
