Comparison of moral foundations, value priorities and meaning of life of female applicants for extreme makeup and normal women
The purpose of this study was to compare the moral foundations, personal values and meaning of life in women applying extreme makeup and women with normal makeup. The research method was quantitative and qualitative using semi-structured and causal-comparative interviews. From the statistical population of 40 people (20 women with extreme makeup and 20 with normal makeup) in a purposeful and voluntary manner as a sample and Schwartz value selection, ethical foundations questionnaire, meaning of life interview form and diagnostic checklist of extreme makeup Researcher-made was performed. Manova analysis of variance and SPSS18 software were used for data analysis. The findings showed that women with extreme makeup scored lower on the scales of moral foundations and personal values. Also, in the basic principles of goal setting and meaning, women with extreme makeup referred to the codes of lack of self-confidence and self-satisfaction, and in contrast, women with normal makeup referred to the codes of purposeful life, satisfaction and peace. Therefore, it is suggested that these three fundamental variables be considered in the development of educational and cultural programs in relevant institutions and organizations.
