The Ways of Monitoring the Social Networks based on Situational Prevention Approach
The aim of this study was to monitor the social networks based on situational prevention approach. This study was an applied one in purpose and survey in method. The data was collected through libraries and field surveys. The required data were gathered by self-made questionnaire for census social network monitoring based on situational prevention approach. The statistical populations of the study consisted of 106 informed police experts in the year of 1395. In order to collect data based on IT based solutions, the self made questionnaire was prepared in the form of categories of Clark's theory of situational prevention of crime which its validity and reliability were studied and verified by 10 experts. The gathered data were analyzed by SPSS software and t-test and Friedman tests and the results showed that among 10 proposed approaches, there are 5 solutions with moderate to high impact, 1 solution of average and 4 solutions lower than the average. At the end, by prioritizing the solutions with Friedman test, the strategy "control and restrict the use of means to facilitate the commit a crime” were assessed as the first priority and strategy "intensify the crime targets" as the final solution.
