Incomplete Nation – State Building: Main Reason of ongoing Crises in the Middle East
The main problem of this research is impacts of colonial nation-state building on ongoing crises in the Middle Eastern Countries. Some states of the Middle East were born after collapse of Ottoman Empire. Colonial powers drew the borders of this new countries. They did not pay attention to the demographic realities of regions and drew the borders according to their strategic considerations. After demarcation of borders some groups revolted against this programme. Unlike the European countries we don’t have a real nation state building based on realities of the region. So it seems that most of ongoing war and revolts are results of this colonial map, because some borders are forced and artificial.
