Explaining the Role, Position and Effectiveness of Architectural Programming in Physical Planning System
The present article presents a part of detailed studies and research conducted in the field of architectural programming and related concepts in the field of physical planning and planning theories. It is known that the product of architecture is the result of the interaction of multilayered and multiple variables that in general or in part of the analysis include basic studies and architectural planning or belong to the composition of design process including ideation and shaping the product. Therefore, recognizing and refining the concepts related to architectural programming is essential in identifying the design process and is of great importance. In this article, It will try to recognize architectural planning and explain its role and position and its effectiveness by examining the links and relationship with physical planning, which itself forms a systematic whole. In this regard, in order to remove the ambiguity in the concepts, the definitions of planning as a whole have been refined and while paying attention to the concepts of entropy and neg-entropy in planning, in the next step, the historical evolution of planning theories and comparative study of planning types Is followed and finally by explaining the physical planning process, the position of architectural programming as well as its types and characteristics of each is determined. The purpose of this study is to determining the programmatic nature of the architectural product, which is possible and proven by identifying architectural programming as the smallest scale of the physical planning system.
