The Effect of Mentoring on occupational fluctuation and Career Plateauing nurses
The importance of transferring empirical knowledge to other colleagues has become a growing concern for organizational managers in recent years. The experienced successful people believe that the relationship of Mentoring with co-workers has had a significant impact on the performance of individuals. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Mentoring on occupational fluctuation and Career Plateauing employees.
The present research is among the field of organizational behavior and human resources. In terms of purpose, it is a descriptive-survey study with a quantitative approach. The population is all nurses in Navy in Bushehr city. According to the Morgan table, 118 nurses were selected using random sampling method. The data was collected by a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS, Pls software.
The mean value of the extracted variance is 0.5 and Cronbach's alpha is 0.7 for all structures, which indicates that the validity and reliability are valid for all structures. The fitting of the structural model using T coefficients showed that it was higher than 96/1 and the research hypotheses were approved.
The results indicate that the Mentoring has a negative significant effect on occupational fluctuation and the desire to leave the work. Occupational fluctuation is also positively significantly related to the desire to leave.
