A Study of Manouchehr Atashi's Poem "Daggers, Kisses, Covenants" Based on the Concept of Mimesis in Adorno's Aesthetic Theory

One of the principles of Adorno's aesthetic theory is the concept of mimesis. By stating this principle, he critiques the structures of domination and repression in modern rationality and enlightenment, which can be examined from three perspectives: the dialectical relationship of Mimesis and intellect, Mimesis as the dialectic of subject and object, Mimesis and its relation to language that in this study, we also examine these three categories in the poetry of daggers, kisses and covenants by Manouchehr Atashi to show mimetic relationship between man and nature in the dialectic of the Enlightenment and the relationship between mimetic art and society in Adorno's aesthetic theory that how the reduction and assimilation of nature by modern man can lead to his domination of nature. Something that is also evident in the poetry of daggers, kisses, covenants. in fact, in this poem, the poet has emptied nature of its inner forces and hidden qualities and has given it something according to its mentality, which in itself can mean the poet's domination over nature and in fact the distinction between subject and object, which is one of the capabilities of artistic language; In fact, one of the basic axes of Adorno's thought of modern mentality is the objectification of the subject. Thus, in Adorno's thought, artistic expression is possible through mimesis.
