Designing an Entrepreneurial Strategic Renewal Model in Media organizations

Abstract:

Due to the dynamic characteristics of the media industry and the market for media products, the external and internal developments of this industry are very high, and adaptation to these changes is one of the management needs. Entrepreneurial strategic renewal contributes to the long-term success of an organization and how to take advantage of environmental opportunities. The present study has a mixed exploratory (qualitative-quantitative) approach in terms of development-applied purpose and method to provide a conceptual framework of entrepreneurial strategic renewal in media organizations. The research community in the qualitative section consisted of 17 senior managers of media organizations and academic experts. The statistical population of the quantitative section also consists of managers, experts, experts and activists of media organizations that use Cochran's formula for an indefinite community, 384 of them as a statistical sample through the available sampling method was selected. The data collection tool was semi-structured in the qualitative stage of the interview and a researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative stage. The content analysis method was used to analyze qualitative data, and the factor analysis method was used for quantitative data using structural equation software. The results showed that all dimensions and components of entrepreneurial strategic renewal were approved in media organizations and the factors affecting entrepreneurial strategic renewal are strategic agility, organizational capabilities, discovery and exploitation of environmental opportunities, value creation and reconstruction in the business model.
