Message:
Abstract:

Amongst the main important issues of every period is the way people deal with foreign aggressions. The study tried to deal with Iranian people’s defensive pattern against aggressive enemies in Qajar era. It sought to describe and discuss the changes of the pattern from the beginning of the dynasty to the end. Investigating different wars of Qajar era showed that the defensive patter of Iranian people against foreign aggressions has been sometimes positive and sometimes negative and even neutral in some cases. The data were collected using library resources. The most notable result was that some of the influencing factors such as leadership, spirit, comprehensive defense, people-oriented wars, task-oriented characteristics of the wars, national self-confidence had resulted in forming positive behavior pattern and the lack of such factors had resulted in negative or neutral patterns at best. The study sought to explore historical behavior pattern of Iranian in Qajar era against aggressive enemies and to propose them for probable future wars. The results of the applied study can be sued for defensive strategies of Iran.
