Syndromes of Economic Development Policy in Iran

In any country, development syndromes are tantamount to a repetitive challenging set in the economic policy. Development syndromes mean that the political economy of a country is facing unsolved challenges. The development crisis came with its own specific syndromes, creating challenges for the economy, politics and social structure of countries. Iran, too, has been faced with unsolved strategic issues which are referred to as economic development policy syndromes.The main question raised by the present article is, “What are the characteristics of the syndromes of the Iranian economic development policy, and under what circumstances do they emerge and expand?” The hypothesis put forth by this paper is “The syndromes of the Iranian economic development policy demonstrate social, economic, political and structural symptoms, and emerge and expand under the influence of a rentier state, growth-oriented economy and limited access political order.” The approach adopted is writing this paper is “challenges of a development-oriented government”. The research methodology used in this paper is based on data and process analysis.
