Investigating the Relationship Between Social Capital

Common norms and values of the social capital can decrease violence in society and prevent crime. The present research، aimed at examining the relation between societal solidarity and social capital in Tabriz city. The research design was survey, the sampling was random, and data collection procedure was a questionnaire. Total number of 384 participants aged 20 to 70 were selected by Cochran formula from areas 2 and 5 of Tabriz. The findings indicated that the more the social capital is ،the higher the level of feeling secure will be and that the more social partnership is ،the higher the level of societal security will be and that the more social relationship is، the higher the level of feeling secure will be.
