The comparison of effectiveness of ideological- political interventions, emotional intelligence and social skills in psychological health improvement of students in Training Command Center of Marine Skills

Psychological health, especially in military and institutional environments, is a requirement of both social and individual life. The aim of this research was to comparison of the effectiveness of ideological – political interventions, emotional intelligence and life skills in psychological health improvement of student in Training Command Center of Marine Skills of Rasht city. In a fully experimental study with 3 months follow-up, four groups which had been selected,each with 25 members were: a control group (without any intervention), first experimental group (ideological-political and emotional intelligence training), second experimental group(ideological–political and social skills training), third experimental group (ideological–political, social skills and emotional intelligence training), 28-item general health questionnaire (GHQ-28) was answered before and after mentioned training courses. The data analyzed through Repeated-Measures Univariate Analyses of Covariance(R-ANCOVA), showed that all interventions in comparison with control group has been able to improve psychological health of students. Also It explains each one of the intervention from first to third respectively 22, 39 and 23% of psychological health changes in post-test. The findings also demonstrated that the effectiveness of mentioned interventions have already remained constant in experimental groups after 3 months. In general, the results indicated that emotional intelligence interventions and social skills along with ideological-political training are effective in order to improve the psychological health of marine students and the effectiveness of them will be continued at least to 3 aspects of intervention. These interventions can be proposed to Training Command Center of marine skills.
