Exploring the relation between Information Technology (IT) and personnel’s organizational learning in police chief of Guilan province

Abstract:

Information technology as one of the tools play important role in knowledge growth and development and ease organizational learning. So, no organization is never a learning organization by itself and organizational learning is affected by different factors like IT. In this reaserch, we explained the effects of IT components such as software, hardware, networking and data on learning and its theoritical framework based on literature review disgned according to Loser and Merkador theoritical model. Research method was empirical and its population was personnel of Guilan province police in 1392. We applied multi phase’s culusteral method for sampling. The size of the sample was 357. After gathering data by means of questionnaire, we analyzed them by SPSS software. Findings show that, there are positive and significant relation between IT components such as software, hardware, networking, data and organizational learning. In final, some solutions recommended for police growth and success.
