A Comparative Study of the Rationality of the Islamic Revolution in the Thought and Action of Shahid Beheshti and Ayatollah Mesbah yazdi
This essay studies how the rationality of the Islamic Revolution is reflected in the epistemic system and practical logic of Shahid Beheshti and Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi as the two popular theorists of the Islamic Revolution.
For the study of the approaches and ideas of these thinkers, comparative analysis has been used and finally the reflection of the rationality of the Islamic Revolution in the epistemic system and practical logic of Shahid Beheshti and Ayatollah Misbah Yazd has been compared.
These two thinkers have tried to formulate the problems and needs of their age outside the structural domination of modern rationality, based on a social reading of the school of Islam to have innovation in solving them; to the extent that in the advancement of the Islamic movement, the issue of social leadership is highlighted in the thought of Shahid Beheshti, while in the thought of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, the centrality of cognition and reforming it, is highlighted; each of which proposes different formulations of the Islamic Revolution in the field of action and social rules.
The results indicates that we are confronting with two rational approaches in the Islamic Revolution; one of which focuses on the issue of cognition and education strategy aimed at creating a consensus on the principles, foundations and ends, intends to make unity in the beliefs and actions of individuals and the other with designing the paths from the beginning to the end, pursues the absorb and the integration of multiplicity and differences in harmonious social activities under social leadership.
