Identifying Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Leadership of Farhangian University Campus Managers (Qualitative Study)
The aim of this study was to identify the factors affecting the effectiveness of leadership of Farhangian University campus managers. In terms of applied purpose, this type of data was qualitatively exploratory and the method of content analysis was research. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and literature and background study, and its validation was done by verification method. Participants were selected by purposive sampling method based on the rule and the principle of theoretical saturation. Content analysis was performed in three stages of open, axial and selective coding using MAXQDA qualitative data analysis software, extraction and analysis. According to the findings, categories and main and sub-factors affecting the promotion of leadership effectiveness of Farhangian University campus managers were identified and classified from the perspective of participants in interviews and other study sources, which include: 1. Internal organizational factors Campus (5 categories, campus organizational characteristics, campus manager capabilities, staff capabilities, faculty and students); 2. External organizational factors at the local level (2 categories, cultural and political factors of the local environment, socio-economic factors of the local community), 3. External organizational factors at the national level (4 categories, policies and general philosophy of the system towards Farhangian University, rules and regulations Higher Education, Laws of the Ministry of Education, Farhangian University Headquarters); 4. Extra-organizational factor at the international level (1 category, international missions of the university), 5. Underlying factors (facilitator) (3 categories, preparation and provision of infrastructure, geographical location, independence of the university campus ) Is.
