Investigation and ranking of factors affecting the implementation of knowledge management in academic libraries of Golestan province (in 2017)

The aim of this study was to identify and rank the factors affecting the implementation of knowledge management in university libraries in Golestan province. The statistical population of this study includes all librarians working in university libraries of Golestan province in 1996.research

The census method was used to prepare and determine the size of the statistical sample. The research is descriptive-survey and correlational in terms of data collection method and applied in terms of purpose. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed after extraction and classification using SPSS software.

Based on the results, the perception of university library managers ranked first (90%); IT infrastructure ranked second (71%); Familiarity of librarians with the concept of knowledge management in the third place (64%); And organizational culture is ranked fourth (61%) in the impact on knowledge management and its implementation in university libraries in Golestan province.
