An analysis of the position of the electronic city in the social communication system, with an emphasis on social harm caused by it
Today, the internet as the most extensive and richest source of information in the world has a great impact on different aspects of life. Thus, we are considering the dramatic changes in technology and the cultural, social and professional impacts of it. The electronic revolution, the explosion of information as well as the echo of the e-mail is one of the gains from the wide-ranging capabilities of this phenomenon. The electronic city in the world is a new phenomenon that lasts only a decade but due to its much ability and advantages, it has attracted many experts and IT specialists but despite all the benefits, this massive transformation of communication technology has had serious consequences for some communities. It raises challenges and concerns, one of the most important of which is the social harm caused by it. So, in the present study, we intend to introduce the city of electronics and internet applications to explain the social damage caused by it. The governing approach of this research is descriptive-analytic, using library and documentary studies as well as field studies. The results of this study show that despite all the benefits of using the internet in the electronic city, this phenomenon (globalization and lack of privacy) can cause irreparable social damage on the body of the urban community.
