Predicting Marital Satisfactions Based on Religious Attitude and Forgiveness in Women of Military Families

Abstract:

The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting Marital Satisfaction Based on Religious Attitude and Forgiveness in 2019-2020. The statistical population of the present study includes all women living in Tehran in 2020. In a descriptive correlational study, 150 samples were selected by using the available sampling method and completed the Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire (Enrich, 1989), the Religious Attitude Questionnaire (Khodayari-Fard, 1999) and the Forgiveness Questionnaire (Thompson et al., 2005). The results of Multivariate Regression Analysis indicated that there is a significant positive relationship between Marital Satisfaction with Religious Attitude and Forgiveness in women. Therefore, according to the results, it can be concluded that Religious Attitude and Forgiveness significantly predict the Marital Satisfaction of women (P <0.05). The findings of the present study show the importance and positive effect of Religious Constructive Attitude and Forgiveness in increasing Marital Satisfaction. The results are discussed.
