Prevalence and demographic factors associated with substance use among adolescents in Boushehr and provide preventive psychology and police force
illegal drug use by adolescents is one of the main psychosocial challenging in modern societies that is the reason of cultural ,social, health and psychological problems. This study was conducted to assess the prevalence of drug use in adolescents in the province.
The sample included 1006 subjects (414 females and 592 males) who were selected by random cluster sampling and questionnaires - the prevalence of cigarette smoking, alcohol and drugs were administered on them. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square test were analyzed.
The results showed that codeine, doping, x pills, tramadol and cannabis, respectively, were the most common materials for students. xi test results showed that age, education, parental education, mother's occupation, and family history of drug abuse and consumption of opium, molasses, grass, heroin, cannabis, glass, crack, pills X, Ritalin, codeine, tramadol, there is a significant relationship between doping and adolescents. The correlation between gender and the use of opium, molasses, cannabis and crack, Grade Point Average consumption of opium, molasses, grass, heroin, cannabis, glass, crack, pills X, Ritalin, codeine, tramadol and heroin doping and fathers job , cannabis was made.
This study demonstrates that a significant percentage of adolescents Boushehri have experienced different types of materials. Thus, prevention and enforcement programs should target high-risk groups. According to the results of teens restrict access to drugs, correct information, correct wrong attitudes and parent education could be helpful in the prevention of substance abuse in adolescents.
