The effectiveness of behavioral couple therapy on marital conflict management in young couples
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of behavioral couple therapy on the management of marital conflicts in young couples in 1399-1400. In this study, a pre-test-post-test quasi-experimental design with a control group was used. In the present study, using purposive sampling method, 30 young couples by available sampling and randomly in two groups of 15 alternate experiments and controls and answered the marital conflict questionnaire. The experimental group received 8 sessions of behavioral couple therapy training twice a week for 45 minutes and the participants in the control group were placed on a waiting list. Findings analysis Using independent analysis of covariance showed that couple behavioral therapy training reduces marital conflicts in young couples. The most important results of this study are the effectiveness of behavioral couple therapy training in improving conflicts in young couples. Therefore, the officials of family counseling centers are advised to take effective steps to reduce and improve marital conflicts.
