Education of judicial officers in the light of the Criminal Procedure Code2013
Judicial officers are the first agents of criminal justice to confront defendants and criminal victims. It is very important to select them and reach the position of judicial officer. In this regard,several components play a role, of which education is one of the most prominent. In this context, judicial officers will be acquainted with and trained in criminal law, the types of rights of defendants and victims, and methods of crime prevention.
This research is Practical and has studied the legal and criminological aspects of the training of judicial officers with a descriptive-analytical method and library information collection tools.
In the field of Iraninan criminal procedure, the education of judicial officers has been considered in two Types. On the one hand, there is a policy on the responsibility of education and on the other hand, on how and aspects of their education. Accordingly, prosecutors, and indeed the judiciary, have a responsibility in this regard to be accountable for how they play a role in the criminal process. In addition, the objectives and training courses of judicial officers have been identified in order to frame their education courses.
The responsibility and implementation of education courses for judicial officers has been entrusted to prosecutors. Accordingly, the judiciary should provide the grounds for holding appropriate education courses by assessing the needs and anticipating the necessary topics.
