Strategies for developing the relationship between university and industry in the country based on the data-based method

Today, attention to the commercialization of academic research, academic entrepreneurship, and the relationship between academia and industry has increased dramatically. Industry-university cooperation refers to teaching, research, development and other joint activities in an educational system and allows all parties and sections of society to take advantage of the opportunities available at the university..The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategies for developing the relationship between university and industry in the country. The present research is applied-developmental in terms of purpose and qualitatively and quantitatively mixed in terms of method. In the first stage, data theory was used to construct a conceptual model to explain the development strategies of academia and industry in the country. In the qualitative section, experts familiar with the relationship between university and industry formed the statistical sample of the research. Due to the adequacy of sampling and theoretical saturation, 15 people were selected by purposive sampling and snowball method, then ATLAS.ti.8 software was used to analyze the data of the three-stage open, axial and selective process. In the quantitative part of the research, the statistical population of the study included all managers and experts of knowledge-based companies and industry managers and professors of Yazd University. The statistical sample of the research was determined based on the recommendations of using confirmation models of 220 people. In order to collect data, a questionnaire based on sub-categories and concepts obtained from the qualitative stage of the research and based on a paradigm model was used, and in order to analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis was used in PLS software. The results of the quantitative part of the research show that all confirmation models are properly formulated.
