A Comparative Study of the Political Opinions of Abul Ali Maududi and Seyyed Qutb

Abstract:

Salafism is one of the issues that the Islamic world has been dealing with in the twentieth century. Salafism is a genuine concept rooted in the Islamic world. This idea was organized in the Islamic world from the second century AH with the advent of Ibn Hanbal. In the twentieth century, however, two thinkers were more influential than anyone else in Salafi thought and action. Abu Ali Maududi and Sayyid Qutb, two great Salafi thinkers, one born in Pakistan and the other born in Egypt, are the most important Salafi thinkers in the Islamic world. One in the east of the Islamic world and the other in the west and south explained Salafism and met in Afghanistan. The concept of ignorance and domination is one of the principles that plays a central role in these two thinkers. Concepts that have undergone fundamental changes in the Islamic world. This article intends to explain the extent of their influence as well as their differences with a comparative study of these two thinkers.
