Comparison of the effectiveness of Frisch quality of life education and quality of life education based on Islamic teachings on resilience and prosocial behaviors
The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Frisch's quality of life education and quality of life education based on Islamic teachings on Resiliency and Prosocial behaviors of primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients. The present study is a quasi-experimental study. From the population of primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients in Shahrekord city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, 46 primary caregivers were selected using available sampling method. Research tools included Resiliency questionnaires (Connor & Davidson, 2003) and prosocial behaviors (Penner, 2002). Data were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance using SPSS-22 software. The results showed that the effectiveness of group training of Frisch quality of life and group training of quality of life based on Islamic teachings on increasing Resiliency (P <0.001) was significant and the effect size was 0.41 and 0.69, respectively, and the effectiveness of group training The quality of life based on Islamic teachings was higher than Frisch's group training. Also, the effectiveness of Frisch quality group life training and quality of life group training based on Islamic teachings on increasing Prosocial behaviors (P <0.001) was significant and the effect size was 0.24 and 0.46, respectively, and the effectiveness rate Group quality of life training based on Islamic teachings was more than Frisch group quality of life training. Therefore, it can be said that Frisch quality of life education and quality of life education based on Islamic teachings can improve the level of Resiliency and Prosocial behaviors of the main caregivers of schizophrenia patients.
