The effectiveness of psychodrama training on coping strategies and rumination of coronary couples
Psychodrama is a method of psychotherapy with a theatrical form in which the emotional or behavioral problems of patients and therapists are addressed using theatrical techniques. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of psychodrama training on coping strategies and rumination of coronary couples. The research design was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest design with control group. The statistical population included all couples with coronavirus heart disease referred to Tehran health centers. The statistical sample included 30 patients referred to health centers who were selected by available sampling method and randomly divided into two groups of control and the experiment was assigned and then the experimental group was trained for three weeks. The data collection tool in the present study was the Billings and Mouse Coping Strategies Questionnaire (COPE) (1981). The results showed that psychodrama training has an effect on coping strategies and rumination coronavirus couples (p <0.05). The results showed that psychodrama training plays a crucial role in improving coping strategies and rumination of coronary couples. Therefore, due to the role of psychodrama training in improving coping strategies and rumination of coronary involvement couples, training in this technique is recommended.
