Ethnic Heterogeneity and National Security

This article’s aim is to expand and promote theoratical evaluation of national security, embracing ethnicity factor concerning third world national security framework. It is necessary to recognize the internal complexities and national values as influential factors. Furthermore, since the process of national - building is completed in westerndeveloped countries, the security challenges of these countries differ from those of third world countries. This reality necessitates revision of realistic patterns or widening of national security concept. In ran the ethnicity factor which represents social heteriogenity is an important factor in assessment and designing national security policies and factors such as being third world country, regional transformations and expansion of Globalization process increase the threatening potentials of ethnicity factors. Thus, it is necessary forscholars and elites to seek mechanisms for transformation of theats to opportunities.
