Art and Politics

In the article the author attempts to identify the politics as an independent variable and considers its relationship with art as a dependent variable. In so far as the politics explains a society, its domination and organization of power from of the state and the nongovernmental and inter–governmental institutions. Art, in turn as a media that transmission of meaning occurs through it in various forms such as movie, novel, painting…, meets politics. This relationship. essentialy includes four items: 1. Art in support of politics 2. Art in contrast of politics. 3. Politics in support of art 4. And politics incontrast of art. It is clear that all mentioned situations about the relations betweenart and politics will explain different forms of political power. The main consequence of this attitude is that when the art is supported or challenged by politics, its aesthetic internal aspect will be reduced.
