In contrast, a group within Muslim Brotherhoods, having a positive view of women considering women as equal to men in dignity and humanity. In the field of functionalism, some Salafi jihadists, a group within Muslim Brotherhood and some Wahhabis maintain that it permissible for women to be only a housewife, and any function beyond that is allowed just in emergency situations, believing that the main duty of women is housekeeping. In contrast, some other Salafi jihadists, some members of Muslim Brotherhood, and some Wahhabis believe that it absolutely permissible for women to work outside the home. On the other hand, Ibn Taymiyyah and his like-minded people, the Wahhabis, Salafi jihadists and some Muslim Brotherhood figures, have presented a strict view in the field of women's rights and religious duties, providing a minimal view of their social and political rights. In contrast, some other Muslim Brotherhood figures have taken a more favorable view of women's religious rights and responsibilities, believing in a maximum participation of their social and political rights.
