Abstract:

With increasing population and expanding urbanization, people are gradually moving away from nature and density of population and excessive interference in the natural environment and the creation of man-made environments, physical and spiritual needs of the environment is further demonstrated. Green space that forms part of the cityscape as a real phenomenon of the first things that man is always in contact with it, before any planning for urban green development, green space development standards must be specified.Green space should be commensurate with the size and quality of physical environment and society needs to be built according to ecological zone to the green space of continuous environmental performance. Warm and dry in Iran because of natural conditions such as high temperatures, low rainfall, soils, gypsum, limestone, etc. have a certain type of plant species used in the design of green space areas Iran. In this paper, in addition to the above, the characteristics of different species of trees and shrubs that are drought resistant can be used in the green space will be mentioned.
