An Analysis on the principles of ISIS's suicide attacks on the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Neo-Salafist Jihadies believe that all their jihadist actions have Quranic and Hadithic evidences. They have adopted five general principles for using the suicide operations. In the case of their attacks to the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran and other Islamic countries as the following: 1- these attacks are on the bases of the sovereignty verse in the Quran, all the rulers in Islamic countries are absolute infidels. 2- Iran and other Islamic countries are Dar al-Kufr. 3- Democracy equals to tyranny, and citizens participating in elections are infidels. 4- Legislation is polytheism and the representatives of the people are polytheists. 5- Those who are related to the representatives are also infidels. We can disprove these claims as it follows: firstly: According to Sunni interpretations, the word infidelity in "the verse of sovereignty" means minor infidelity. Second: According to Sunni principles, Iran and other Islamic countries are Dar al-Islam. Third: According to the consensus of Sunni and Shia, democracy is not only polytheism; rather, it is one of the most original Islamic teachings. Fourth: the laws of the Iranian parliament must be in accordance with the holy sharia. Fifth: The prophetic tradition shows that people were interacting with their representatives to obtain laws. The present study has investigated this subject in a descriptive-analytical manner.
